MEET JAMES "BUTCH" BRYANT

VOTE FOR PERFORMANCE, NOT PROMISES.

James "Butch" Bryant proudly serves as the Justice of the Peace for Precinct 4 in Ellis County, having been elected by the citizens in November 2024 and officially sworn into office in January 2025. With deep roots in the community and a strong sense of civic duty, Judge Bryant brings a hands-on, compassionate approach to the bench. From the moment he assumed office, he has been dedicated to clearing the backlog of cases that have long affected his precinct, working diligently to ensure that justice is served swiftly and fairly for all. He understands that behind every case is a person or a family in need, and he strives to treat each one with the respect, patience, and fairness it deserves.

Judge Bryant's commitment to public service goes far beyond the courtroom. He is deeply invested in the well-being of the people he serves and believes in building strong, collaborative relationships with community members, law enforcement, schools, and local organizations. He regularly seeks out opportunities to engage with residents, listen to their concerns, and find practical, community-based solutions to local issues. Whether it’s supporting youth programs, promoting civic education, or helping guide individuals through difficult legal situations, Judge Bryant is focused on making a lasting, positive impact in Ellis County. His mission is not only to uphold the law but also to foster a safer, stronger, and more connected community for all citizens of Precinct 4.
